  • Seven Ages of Man Woodcut Card (with Envelope)


    This card features a Beautiful reproduction of a Woodcut (c.1485) depicting the 'Seven Ages of Man'- a common Medieval image showing the stages of Man's life and his growth in godliness and wisdom. The woodcut was originally made for an edition of De Proprietatibus Rerum ('On the Properties of Things') by Bartholomeus Anglicus, a noted 13th century English Franciscan scholar. The 1485 edition of his work was printed in Lyon by Johannes Silber.
